Home Transformation: Interior

We tackled the interior of this family home in The Gardens to give it a much needed renovation. The house had remained the same as it was when it was built in 1997, so was in desperate need of a facelift to bring it into the new millenium!

We stripped the interior of it's existing carpet, tile, bathrooms, kitchen and master wardrobe. We also stripped the walls and removed all light fittings, light switches and electrical socket covers.

We recarpeted the home and laid new tile in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry. Fresh paint went onto the ceilings, crown moulding, skirting and doors, and the walls were hung with a soft neutral linen wallpaper thanks to our painting and wallpaper expert affectionately known as 'Uncle'.

A brand new custom designed kitchen went in (with a lot of advice from the wife!) to increase the storage, bench and floor space, along with all new appliances. A corner pantry was designed to open up into a small bulter's pantry, with additional bench space and electrical sockets to keep frequently used appliances out of the way.

All the light fittings were replaced, and all the electrics were checked and replaced as need by one of our partner electricians. We also ensured all plumbing, gas fittings and pipelines were upgraded or maintained as needed.
